This series 42 traveller car has been designed to run in a deck recess in the X5.6 so the series 100 sheave for the German mainsheet system is incorporated in a fixed stirrup so that the sheave will not make contact with the sides of the recess. A 3:1 towing purchase is provided on each end of the car body with a series 60 RB al.alloy sheave and incorporated dead end. |
