This series 55 transvers jib car has been designed for the Custom RP-Nauta 100 built by Southern Wind Shipyard. The car is fitted with a stirrup that carries two high load plain bearing sheaves, these sheaves provide a 2:1 purchase system in conjunction with floating block B125-1568. The car has a towing hook at each end of the car body for attachment of the control lines. The series 55 car body is fitted with torlon ball bearings. End stop outboard track fitting G055-1303 and end stop fitting inboard G055-1298 are also used on each side of the boat. To deflect the control lines below the deck to the hydraulic rams through deck sheave boxes B100-1551 are used on each side of the boat. |
