This series 26 vang car has been designed for the IMOCA Open 60 Hugo Boss 7. The car has two slots machined in the body to attach the strops to spread the load into the car body. Two cars will be used lashed together giving a combined MWL of 3200 kg. The car has its bearing race machined with a radius of 5.9m "A"bend (plan view) to allow the car to run smoothly on the bent vang track M026-2898. End stops M026-2899 are used at the ends of the track. |
