This series 22 car is used to position fenders where required around the side of a Mega Yacht to protect the yacht when coming alongside. The car is fitted with a buffed and highly hand polished fairlead and cleat plate,a large cleat RF5420 is used to adjust the height of the fender. The black anodised car body is fitted with torlon ball bearings to provide ease of adjustment of the car on the track around the yachts hull. The plunger stopper secures the car in position when the desired fender position is found. A handed version of this car G022-2251 has also been designed for use on the other side of the boat. This car can be run on the same track as the Ronstan Safety Rail cars but it should not be used to support or provide fall arrest for people, it should only be used to secure fenders. |
