This series 55 traveller car has been made for the fast cruiser/racer "Lady G". The stirrup is machined in two halves from solid al.alloy HE-30. The incorporated series 150 sheaves use torlon needle bearings and torlon side thrust ball bearings. A central al.alloy roller is also fitted to the stirrup which prevents sheet chafe when the yacht is running deep downwind with the car secured on the yachts centreline. A rotation limiter is fitted to the stirrup to prevent the stirrup from rotating aft. |
