This series 55 genoa car has been designed for the fast cruiser/racer "Lady G" an SWS 94. The car is used in conjunction with the staysail car G055-1097 running on the same track. Both cars are connected together with a vectran strop and the two cars are towed together by a control line attached to the forward staysail car. The car is fitted with a machined towing lug for ease of attachment of the vectran towing strop. The block attached to the car uses a plain bearing 150mm diameter sheave with torlon side thrust bearings. All st.steel parts including the cheek plates are highly buffed and hand polished to match the very high quality of this yacht. The car body is fitted with torlon ball bearings for ease of control. |
