This series 30 short ball bearing car is designed for use in the vang system of the new Guillaume Verdier and VPLP team design of IMOCA 60 for Hugo Boss. Four cars M030-2336 will run on the bent series 30 track M030-2334 (track bend radius 5950mm "A" bend plan view) The four cars will have vang blocks lashed on to create a vang purchase. The car body has been machined to remove all redundant material to create a very strong and light car. The ends of the track are fitted with high load end stops M030-2335 which incorporate a heavy duty rubber buffer to protect the cars when they run to the ends of the track. |
