This block has been designed fot applications where the loaded line passes over the top of the sheave. Two typical applications are: For hoisting dagger boards,the block in this situation is mounted on the edge of the daggerboard slot. Another application is to lead a mainsheet over the edge of a coach roof. The block has a guide to prevent the line from jumping of the sheave. The sheave fitted is a high load plain bearing sheave with torlon side thrust bearings. Fixing holes for two M12 CSK screws are provided in the base of the block.
