This car has been designed for used on a bent track of radius 5285mm ("A"Bend,plan view). The mainsheet blocks are not included with the part number so should be ordered seperately with the upstanding spring assembly RF324-2. The car can be used for either a 4:1 purchase athwartship style of mainsheet system or a 6:1 german style of mainsheet. Two footblocks RF70151 are used for the 2:1 purchase control line system.The control should be dead ended on one side of the track and led to a winch via a footblock on the opposite side of the track.Typically end stop RC13081 will be used at each end of the track. The car can also be used on a straight track. This system is often used on cruising multihulls up to approximately 12m long. |
