This series 100 plain bearing block has been designed for use on the Spirit 57DH for use as a primary halyard block attached to the deck around the mast. The cheek plates are of a modern open design and are made from highly hand polished st.steel plate to match the classic style of this fast cruising yacht. The use of a plain bearing sheave was made to handle the high static loads that are typical of this application. |
