This series 55 traveller car is designed to run on a bent track with an "A" bend (plan view) of 7252mm. To enable the car run on this radius the car bodies have to be kept as short as possible,to achieve this the mainsheet blocks are mounted directly on top of the control line blocks. The Orbit blocks mounted on this car are series 150,one of which has a becket to provide a 5:1 mainsheet purchase.The mainsheet is led along the boom to a block at the gooseneck,back to the deck and then to a winch in the cockpit |
