This plain bearing upstanding block has been designed to suit the traditional styling of the Classic Barge "Lotus Eater". All of the St.steel components including the padeye,cheek plates and sheave securing screws have been finished to a very high hand polished finish. The black anodised sheave used in this block is fitted with torlon ball bearings to handle the side thrust loads and help the sheave run smoothly. The padeye loop M10 studs have a length of 78mm. The maximum rope diameter that can be used in this block is 20mm . The block is used for halyards and is secured to the deck around the mast at deck |
