This series 75 Orbit Spreacher Strop block was designed for use on the RP52 "Scarlet Runner" for use on the spinnaker sheets. The block utilizes the conventional Orbit sheaves series 75 and series 60 but the key feature of this spreacher block is that it has been designed to be attached to the boat using a strop that passes through the center of the series 75 sheave.This gives this block a high strength to weight ratio compared with the more conventional style of block fitted with a shackle and swivel head. |
