This series 26 headboard car has been designed for use on IMOCA Open 60 Monohulls using the now typical "Fat head" mainsails. The head ring of the mainsail is lashed on to the thimbles of this car. This car is fitted with a torlon ball bearing system. If a captive ball car is required with the same thimble attachments then car M026-1495 should be used |
