This series 42 end control has been designed for the Arabian 100 offshore trimaran. The fitting is secured to the end of the Quadrace track on one side of the boat only. A key feature of this fitting is the machined guide for the mainsheet at the outboard edge of the fitting. The mainsheet is dead ended in a shaped hole through the carbon structure of the boat outboard of the end control fitting,it then passes through this machined guide and is led to the mainsheet traveller car. A series 100 sheave is fitted for the deflection of the control line. Rubber buffers are fitted to the end control body to prevent car damage should the deflector cars collide with this fitting. |
