This series 55 staysail car has been designed for the SWS-100 cruising sloop for the sheeting of the staysail.This staysail car runs on the same track as the number 1 genoa car so to aviod doubling up on towing systems a padeye is fitted to the aft end of this car so that a towing line can be linked onto the main genoa car,and a series 100 Orbit sheave is fitted to the forward end of this car for the 2:1 purchase towing system |
