This car has been designed specifically for the X-55 cruiser racer.A traveller car with a 6:1 control line purchase was needed,but because the control lines run across the cockpit sole the need was to keep them as low and flat to the deck as possible.This was achieved by attaching the control line sheaves to a stirrup fitted over the car body rather than the more conventional stacking of the sheaves. The end control used was part number T042-0892. The final lead from the traveller car being led to upright lead block RF50171HL attached to the cockpit sole and then lead to cleat RF5210B (with RF5213 saddle) attached to cockpit side. |
