This series 42 end control has been use to control mainsheet cars with either a 7:1 or 8:1 control line purchase.A 7:1 purchase is achieved when used with the mainsheet car T042-0729. An M10 head screw and the addition of a becket screw (can also be used to dead end the control line)are used to prevent the triple stacked control line series 50 sheaves from "tripping" when high control line loads are applied. A heavy duty rubber buffer is incorporated into the design to prevent mainsheet car damage when the car reaches the end of the track. |
