This Al.alloy fairlead was designed for the Sydney 47 to create a lead to the winch for the genoa sheet.The sheet only being deflected around 20 degree through the fairlead so a turning sheave was not required.The aperture in this fitting is wide enough to allow two genoa sheets to pass through at one time to help genoa changes.Two M10 Hexagon Socket Head Cap Screws are used to secure this fitting to the deck (screws are not included with this part number) The approximate maximum rope diameter that can be used with this fairlead is 14mm |
