This series 55 traveller car fitted with torlon ball bearings has been so designed that the traveller car body will sit below the deck so that all that can be seen above the deck is the two upstanding blocks on their polished st.steel padeyes. This car is not supplied with blocks but Orbit blocks RF129106B or RF159106 can be ordered seperately for use with the car. Only a narrow slot running the width of boat (the length of the traveller track)can be seen giving the yacht a very clean deck layout. An attachment point is provided for a single purchase control line,this control line generally being led to a hydraulic ram for ease of control of the car up and down the track. Typically this car would be used on cruising yachts up to approximately 28m length |
