This genoa car is used for control of the No.1 genoa on the Baltic 61.A spectra strop is attached to the padeye on the front of the car which then connects the car to the aft end of the genoa car G042-0618.The "train" of cars is then pulled via a spectra strop lead below deck to a hydraulic ram. The sheave fitted to the car is RF108000W,and the car body is fitted with torlon ball bearings for ease of adjustment at high loads. |
