This series 22 genoa car has been designed for the new X-35 one design.The main feature of this car is that the 8:1 purchase towing system has been incorporated into the design of the car avoiding the need for a seperate purchase system attached to the boat.This genoa car when used with end control fitting G022-0607 makes up a self contained system requiring the boat builder to only fit a cleat on the deck aft in the cockpit to control the system. The al.alloy sheave RF68000W is fitted to the car for efficient handeling of the genoa sheet,and 40mm/30mm sheaves provide the control line purchase.The car body is fitted with torlon ball bearings for ease of adjustment at high load. |
