This series 30(with torlon ball bearings) genoa car is fitted with an RF78000W sheave for the genoa sheets.The important feature of this car is that the 8:1 purchase towing the car is attached directly to the front of the car body.This car is used on this particular boat with a four sheave and becket end control (G200-0464) fixed directly to the track end. This completely contained genoa system avoids the use of the untidy control purchase blocks moving along the deck,and avoids the necessity to attach a separate control purchase block to the deck. |
