This series 26 (with torlon ball bearings) genoa car is fitted with an RF78000W sheave for the genoa sheets. The important feature of this car is that the 7:1 purchase towing the car is attached directly to the front of the car body. This car is used on this particular boat with a four-sheave end control (EC4A-150) fixed directly to the track end. This completely contained genoa system avoids the use of untidy control purchase blocks moving along the deck, and avoids the necessity to a attach separate control purchase block to the deck. |
