This series 55 (torlon ball bearing) mainsheet traveller car is fitted with two upstanding series 180 Orbit blocks. This car is used with a 4:1 purchase mainsheet system. The mainsheet is dead ended on the boom end, passes down to this mainsheet car, back up to a boom end block, back down to the mainsheet car and then led foreword to the gooseneck via another boom end block. 12mm pad eyes are fitted to each end of the car body to attach the control lines. |
