This high load series 42 outhaul car has a captive slide rod bearing surface,held captive by reinforced end caps. The stirrup has two pins ,one 20mm diameter for direct attachment of the mainsail clew,and a second 12mm diameter pin used for dead ending the control line,or alternatively used to connect a block if a 2:1 purchase clew outhaul purchase is required.. The stirrup is designed to pivot to allow for the offset force of the mainsail. |
